• Capsule was borne out of an idea to provide an end to end, turn-key enrollment and consolidated billing solution for the administration service provider market. For the past 7 years MPB has been engaged in development, testing and implementation of its software.

• The Capsule Consolidated Billing System produces client invoices for a variety of insurance premiums, based on client enrollment data in conjunction with business logic built with an understanding of the needs of billing administration. It is designed to be reliable, accurate, and easy to use.

• While the Capsule system is relatively new, the core code behind it has been in use for nearly 7 years, generating in excess of 1000 invoices a month facilitating nearly 80,000 employees and dependents. That back-end code has proven over that time to be reliable and accurate with minimal invoice correction or down time.  
• The Capsule system comprises a brand-new front end designed to significantly reduce the user interaction required to execute the monthly billing process (which also decreases the possibility of human-introduced errors), while continuing to utilize the core of the tested and proven back end. 
• Every operation performed in the Capsule system, from entry of enrollment data, enrollment changes, rate changes to production of invoices, is tracked and logged. The logs contain information on what action was performed, who performed it, and when. If an action modifies data, the previous values of any modified data are also logged. This provides an invaluable audit trail.
